Full story (spoilers)

Erik Martin, a humble tech genius, pulls an all-nighter to fend off a cyberattack on Dorsey Tech. Unrecognized, he gets fired by William Dorsey, the CEO's son, after being caught asleep at work. Fernanda betrays Erik early on by doubting him, and her greed and selfishness blind her. Dorsey Tech then wrongly accuses him of hacking its system, and he has no place left there. Evelyn, the CEO of a rival firm, offers him a lead engineer role and a stake as principal shareholder. Erik first refuses, but after Evelyn promises he can have anything he wants, he joins her against Dorsey Tech. William is arrogant and sadistic, and his ego cannot take being defied by someone like Erik. Their alliance drives Dorsey Tech toward bankruptcy, and William realizes too late that he fired the wrong man. Erik's redemption arc in the final showdowns lets him overcome his weaknesses and gets a chance at a happy ending. As William's father returns, William begins to face his wrongdoing, though whether he atones stays open.
