Story

Ella Whitfield spent eight years hiding who she really was while pouring everything into her fiancé. On their wedding day she finds Mason with Lydia, the woman he claims is his late brother's widow. Ella Whitfield arrives early at her wedding and catches Mason secretly marrying Lydia, who poses as his late brother's widow. Mason asks her to be magnanimous and go home, but guests reveal Lydia is his longtime mistress and their son, Noah, is his. Ella exposes the affair, announces her divorce, and calls the tycoon Damian Quinn. Barbara, Mason's mother, calls Ella a worthless orphan and reveals the five-year-old child. When Ella demands that Mason return every resource, Barbara slaps her. Ella learns of the prenuptial agreement that leaves her with nothing. At the wedding, Mason shoves Ella and stomps on her dress while Lydia fakes a fall. Ella slaps Lydia and ends the engagement, but Barbara chokes her, smashes her phone and kicks her while Mason stands by. Beaten and bleeding, Ella collapses, and Damian Quinn strides in with bodyguards. The notes end with Damian Quinn halting the abuse, a turning point for Ella.
