Openly gay teen Cody Calloway lands at Maplewood Reform School after redirecting his senator father's campaign donations to Pride Youth, a felony. The school bans any homosexual activity, and getting caught means expulsion and likely jail time. Beckett Hayes, the golden boy graduating early and dating the headmaster's daughter, Blaire Price, shows Cody around. Beckett flirts openly with Cody when Cody doesn't fall for his charm. Cody is roomed with the bully Xander Thorne, and he meets Easton Scott, a queer peer who promises to keep him safe. Jealous after catching Cody with Easton, Beckett wants Cody to stay away from Easton, though Beckett is dating someone else.
