Story

Caroline Harrington, a wealthy Los Angeles heiress, hides her true identity and marries Liam Foster, a middle-class CEO. Secretly, she uses her family's money to support his business. Natty Parker, who has long wanted Liam, teams up with his mother, Eileen, to stage a trap. At Eileen's birthday party, the set-up makes Caroline look like she is cheating with Liam's uncle, Connor Foster, while Liam watches. Liam asks for a divorce, and Caroline is driven out of the house. She goes home to her family, plotting revenge, but she starts to feel for Connor. Meanwhile, Liam learns of his mother's plot and tries to win her back. Caroline is torn between Connor and Liam, the man she once loved. At a banquet, Caroline exposes Natty's setup with security footage. Natty then threatens Caroline and demands that Connor give up half of his CF Group. Connor learns Caroline is a Harrington, and he proposes to her, confessing his love.
