Story
Eight years back, the narrator's crush Klein seemed to die in a dive they shared. Guilt pushed the narrator to juggle five jobs to look after Klein's brother, Nix. Klein had actually faked his death, and Nix started dating the narrator to learn whether they were after the brothers or the cash. When the narrator tried to walk away, Nix used the orphanage children to force them into one final drug trial.
