A teenage boy spends 14 days at a behavioral correction camp over winter break. His parents sent him there after he talked with a girl from school, believing they were too young to date. On the drive home his father seems satisfied with the results, but when his mother reaches for his backpack, he pulls back. He apologizes and claims she is simply the other sex, and she scolds him: she only meant to warn him about girls out there, not to treat his own mother as one of them. He stays quiet, because at camp answering the opposite sex was also a violation. Then his father announces a family dinner tonight and says he will be shipped back in the morning, since they need to fix him for good. Staring out the window, he concludes there will be no tomorrow, and tonight is his parting gift to them.
