Story
Liora is the second princess of a medieval city-state, and she has loved Ron, her personal knight, for years. Ron, however, has eyes only for Seraphina, her arrogant elder sister. Tired of a royal palace where love and family ring hollow, Liora offers to take her sister's place as a bride promised to a dragon. Her father, the king, seems pleased to see her go.

Full story (spoilers)
Liora, the second princess of a medieval city-state, has long adored Ron, a knight she raised to be her personal guard. Ron, though, is smitten with her arrogant elder sister Seraphina. Her devotion goes nowhere, and she realizes that the affection inside the palace is hollow. Stepping forward, she offers to take Seraphina's place as the bride pledged to an evil dragon under a binding contract. Her father, the king, sends her off and is privately pleased. Liora also releases Ron from their bond and hands him to Seraphina, letting go of every old feeling. When the sacrificial bugles sound, Ron is shocked to discover that Liora is the one heading toward the dragon's lair. The dragon, Kaelion, is actually the Sun God under a curse from a dark witch, and he falls for her the moment he sees her. Liora leaves the cold city-state for a fresh start with him. The story closes with a warning that those who once hurt her will feel the pain of loss.
